Shipping your goods to Northern Ireland

HMRC has adopted a temporary approach to applying declaration requirements for the movement of goods in parcels to Northern Ireland from Great Britain. For business to business movements, these temporary arrangements will end on 1 October 2021.

For all other movement types, for example business to consumer and consumer to consumer, the UK Government advises it will not be making changes on 1 April as previously planned to allow businesses and carriers 6 months to prepare for new customs declaration requirements.

We are monitoring the situation and will update you again when the full requirements for shipping items to Northern Ireland are published by the Government.
